5 Minutes with

In The last few weeks leading up to opening night we got you a little closer to the cast.

Sarah Bayliss, playing Elle Woods
WHAT ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO IN THIS SHOW?
The buzz we get after every performance and the feeling that – hopefully – you got through it all.
WHAT ARE YOU MOST NERVOUS ABOUT?
Tripping on my heels – I’m very clumsy!
WHAT ARE YOUR PRE-SHOW RITUALS (IF ANY)?
Deep breaths and crouching in a corner. Nerves aren’t fun.
WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT ITEM IN YOUR DRESSING ROOM?
Sweets. I need sugar!
WHAT IS YOUR DREAM ROLE
It’s actually Elle Woods… Surprise! I’ve always wanted to do this role for so long so this is a dream come true. Otherwise next would be Molly in Ghost or Belle in Beauty and the Beast.
Adam Mecklenburgh, playing Emmette

My big cartwheel moment!
WHAT ARE YOU MOST NERVOUS ABOUT?
My big cartwheel moment – one sprained ankle per show is enough!
WHAT ARE YOUR PRE-SHOW RITUALS (IF ANY)?
Pre-show McFlurry. Good theatres are always built near a McDonalds as everyone knows dairy is great for the vocal chords – right?!!
WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT ITEM IN YOUR DRESSING ROOM?
A bottle of water and my costume – preferably all of it. You’d be surprised how easy it is to lose bits and bobs and be running round shoeless 10 seconds before having to be on stage… Although that could just be me. Not cast as a ditsy Delta Nu for nothing!
WHAT IS YOUR DREAM ROLE
Peter Pan because he’s always a kid and can fly – actually I think I just want to be Peter Pan in real life – so a dream role would be Sophie in Mamma Mia.
George Sainsbury, playing Kyle (Ups Guy)
