Virtually the whole of the company took the Monday off for dress rehearsal as ‘MY FAIR LADY’ was still moving out of the Pavilion and many male costumes still hadn’t arrived. When they did come, some had to be altered in a last minute rush in which half the tailors in town were involved. A few costumes were only ready a half an hour before curtain-up. But as usual, these problems were overcome by good teamwork
