Again, a massive THANK YOU to all our Patrons, their families and friends for their continued support. We look forward to yet another successful production in August when we are back at The Pavilion with Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
What a fabulous show this turned out to be, it exceeded all our expectations in every aspect. We enjoyed packed houses for every performance and everyone entered into the spirit of what the show had to offer. Thank you for coming along and supporting us. Our 6 main guys were exceptional and had the audiences laughing and crying in equal measures throughout the show.
We also raised almost £1800 for our charity, Prostate Cancer UK through a Raffle at every performance and collection buckets at the end of every show.
Our Civic night was also successful with the Mayor of Christchurch and his wife joining us on the Tuesday evening. Later they met all the cast in the bar after the show. They were both complimentary and welcoming to all the cast.
While Monty was still being rehearsed and performed we held auditions for Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. This was stressful for performing members and Committee to try and get the right balance but make sure our priority was the show we were performing at the moment. All went well with the transition and our focus is now very much on CHITTY.
From Wednesday until Sunday with a Matinee and Evening performance every day (10 performances in all). Very ambitious. We have approximately 36 adult members, 44 children and 6 dogs WOW, what a show this is going to be!
The Box Office is open at the Pavilion, or you can get tickets through Dawn Knight our Ticket Secretary tel: 01202 649383 or
If you prefer just contact me and I can organise tickets for you or simply come along to our next Coffee Morning at my house/garden at the end of this month.
Our Coffee morning is on Friday 29 June 2018 10:30 to 12 noon. This will be at my house 22a Cavendish Road, Bournemouth BH1 1RF. Please come along and support us, cost is still £5.00 and there will be the usual Raffle to help boost our funds. A couple of members of the cast will come along to give us some inside information about the show.
Simon continues to support us and manages to fit us in to his busy work schedule. He will be at Civic Night on Wednesday 29 August and again on Saturday 1 September for Chitty.
Our next show is JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR at the Pavilion next July 2019. We are in the early stages of negotiating at the moment, but this a very exciting venture for us. The last time it was performed in Bournemouth was 12 years ago at the Pavilion.
